Prisms
Prisms are optical components designed to refract, reflect, or disperse light in specific ways, depending on their shape and material. They are widely used in imaging, laser, and optical systems for beam steering, light deviation, or splitting.

Corner Cube Prisms
Corner Cube Prism has the property that any incident beam will be reflected parallel to itself, regardless of the incident angle. These prisms are ideal where precision alignment is difficult or time-consuming.

Penta Prisms
The Penta Prism is a five-sided prism, featuring two important properties. Firstly, the image is neither inverted nor reversed while it is deviated by 90°. Seconldy, it’s a constant deflection device, i.e. all the transmitted rays are deviated by the same exact 90°. Slight adjustment of the prism does not affect the true right angle. The reflecting surface of this prism must be coated with reflective coating.

Right Angle Roof Prisms
Right Angle Roof Prism is a right angle prism with its hypotenuse replaced by a 90°roof. The prism is used where both right angle deflection and image erection are required.

Right Angle Prisms
Right Angle Prism can be used to deflect a beam by 90 degree or 180 degree which depend on which face is entrance face. Please refer to the images as below.
| Material | BK7 or other optical glass |
|---|---|
| Size A (A=B=C) | 3.2, 5, 6.35, 8, 10, 12.7, 15, 20, 25.4 |

Wedge Prisms
Wedge prism is used as a small beam steering element in optical systems. By combining two wedges of equal power in near contact and independently rotating them, a ray passing through the combination can be steered in any direction, with a narrow cone.
| Material | BK7 or other optical glass |
|---|---|
| Dimension | As requirement |

| Flatness | ≤ λ/4 @ 632.8nm |
| Surface Quality | 60/40 scratch and dig |
| Coating | Available upon request |
Dove Prisms
Dove Prism is used as an image rotator which the exit beam propagates along the same direction as the incident beam.
| Material | BK7 Grade A or Fused Silica |
|---|---|
| Dimension | As requirement |
| Beam Deviation | 0º±10″, 0º±30″, 0º±1′, 0º±3′ |
| Flatness | ≤ λ/10 @ 632.8nm at reflection surface |
| Surface Quality | 60/40 scratch and dig |
| Clear Aperture | > 90% |
Porro Prisms
Porro Prism is composed of one large face and two roof faces which are mutually vertical. Beam enters the large face of the prism then hits on the roof, by total internal reflection twice from the roof, the beam exits again through the large face.
