The Menlo Terahertz product portfolio (THz, also known as millimeter waves) covers time domain solutions in traditional pump-probe configurations, as well as solutions for imaging. The products for the time domain are ideally suited for fingerprint spectroscopy whereas the imaging instruments find their use in quality control and inspection.   • TERA K15

The TERA K15 fiber-coupled terahertz spectrometer provides a complete solution for fast broadband time-domain THz spectroscopy, offering maximum flexibility for scientific THz applications. The system includes our latest figure 9® femtosecond laser source at 1.5 μm emission wavelength, fiber-coupled optical light path with delay line, a THz wave path with THz Emitter, THz detector and TPX THz optics, control electronics and a PC with data acquisition and evaluation software. The delay line offers flexibility by covering a standard scan window of >850 ps enabling a high spectral (THz) resolution below 1.2 GHz. Customers demanding superior spectral resolution (<0.7 GHz) can opt for the long scan range (>1600 ps). The dual detector option offers simultaneous measurements in transmission and reflection geometry.

  • TeraSmart

The new compact terahertz spectrometer TeraSmart integrates the latest achievements in broadband Terahertz Time Domain Spectroscopy (THz-TDS) into an easy-to use turnkey solution. It combines Menlo Systems’ latest fiber-based femtosecond laser sources featuring our figure 9® mode locking technology with our industry-proven THz components. The modular design based on our OEM laser platform ELMO ensures a flexible configuration of the system to meet the needs for integration in any industrial or scientific environment. Custom fiber lengths to THz emitter and THz detector are available upon request. Moreover, multibranch configurations are possible, enabling simultaneous measurements of several emitter/detector pairs using only one fs fiber laser oscillator.

  • TERA ASOPS

With the ASOPS technique ultrafast data sampling is no longer limited by the natural restrictions of a mechanically moving optical delay unit. The novel TERA ASOPS highspeed THz time-domain spectrometer system is using this technique to temporally scan THz pulse traces at a revolutionary high rate. At the same time it is extending the detection window to nanoseconds pushing the spectral resolution into the region of hundreds of MHz.
