- Non-Polarizing Plate Beam Splitters - BSPN series
The common glass beam splitter is used to split the laser beam. The performance of beam splitters is mainly dependent on the coating specifications.
- Non-Polarizing Cube Beam Splitters - BSCN series
With non-polarizing beam splitter coating on hypotenuse face, this series of cube beam splitters provide 50:50 split ratio independently on the input beam polarization.
- ZnSe Beam Splitters - BSZ Series
The transmission and reflection of the light depend upon various parameters such as the incident angle, state of polarization, and wavelength of the input beam. There is a substantial difference in the transmittance and reflectance values of s and p polarization at a 45° incident angle, so the ZnSe beam splitters designed are for this angle.

FAQ
A beam splitter is an optical component that is used to split a single incoming light beam into two or more separate beams. It is typically a glass plate or cube that has been coated with dielectric or metal film to reflect a portion of the incoming light while allowing the rest to pass through.
There are different types of beam splitter: the dichroic filter is to separate different wavelengths from a broad band beam ; non-polarizing beam splitter will split the beam to two beams with similar polarization but with different or equal power, where the power ratio depends on the coating design; and polarizing beam splitter will split beams into S and P beams respectively.
A beam splitter works by partially reflecting and partially transmitting an incoming light beam. In most cases, the structure and the coating film in the beam splitter determine the beam splitter’s property and functionality.
