To cope with the worldwide epidemic, Wavelength Opto-Electronic provides Infrared Lens that is used in fever detection equipment, like the ones that are used in the airport for identifying individuals with fever instantly, safely, and efficiently. These IR Lenses operate in the long-wave IR region un-cooled so it is less sensitive to dust/smoke.
What is IR Optics?
Infrared Optics, or commonly known as IR Optics, are used to collect, focus or collimate light in the near-infrared (NIR), short-wave infrared (SWIR), mid-wave infrared (MWIR) or long-wave infrared (LWIR) spectra. The wavelength of IR Optics is ranged between 700 – 16000nm. Wavelength Opto-Electronic offers various IR Optics such as Athermal Lens, IR Zoom Lens, IR Objective Lens, IR Focusing Lens, IR Aspheric Lens, Free-Form Surfaces, Off-Axis Parabolic Mirrors, IR Window, IR Filter and many more optical components of high performance to use in life-science, security, machine vision, thermal imaging, and industrial applications. Infrared Lens Manufacturing Capabilities
Wavelength Opto-Electronic uses diamond turning to produce a wide range of high precision optical components out of Silicon, Germanium, Zinc Sulphide, Zinc Selenide, Calcium Fluoride, Magnesium Oxide, Tungsten Carbide. The IR light is made to pass through the diamond tool and focused precisely at the workpiece interface and allowed to deliver controlled heat.
