Our capability includes electrical control design and fabrication, mechanical design and opto-mechanical control, optical lens and module design based on Zemax simulation, software development for system and automation control, and complete system integration services.

Showcase 1: Multi-beam Alignment System

Laser beam alignment and manipulation has always been a critical factor. Be it free space or fiber-based, the methodology adopted in aligning and manipulating the laser beam is critical in ensuring that the ideal beam output parameter can be achieved. In the case of wire feed systems for laser welding, where multiple beams are being focused on the wire simultaneously, uniformity is a critical factor and a difference in position from a single beam can result in a poor melting of the wire due to non-uniformity. The Multi-beam alignment system developed by WOE has the capability of correcting such an issue. Through the understanding of the optical path of the multiple beams and the interaction of lasers at high power with materials, multiple beams can be aligned at high power. The apparatus also contains the capability of determining the output power of individual beams to ensure similarity in output power.
